meet leah

Some of you may know her as mum (mainly her two sons), Central Coast locals may know her as the cookie lady from the markets, but most of you will know her as Leah.

After first establishing her business in Sydney, where she also owned a successful cafe with her mum for eleven years, Leah and her little family moved north to the Central Coast. It was there that her little business took off, earning her the Australian Specialist Baker of the Year award for 2022. Before giving birth to her second son in July 2023, Leah attended the markets all throughout the Central Coast, becoming a household name at Long Jetty, Terrigal, Gosford, Avoca and Umina markets, as well as a Christmas pop-up stall at Tuggerah Westfield.

Leah is a keen reader (to put it mildly) (her family’s home is pretty much just a place for her to store all of her books), a budding writer (currently working on her first fiction novel as well as a collection of poetry), a useless pickle-ball player and an avid board game enthusiast. When she isn’t running amuck with her five year old son or swooning over her sixteen month old son, you will find her annoying her friends with useless facts about owls and female athletes or with her head in a book (sometimes all of these things happen at once, if you can believe it).

(some of) what i do -

  • Meet your new favourite award-winning sugar cookie! Whether you’re a small retailer or cafe after some wholesale treats, looking to spice up your event with some custom cookies or looking to gift a loved one with a delightfully edible present - look no further than these tasty bad boys.

  • Cupcakes are just an entire cake that you can fit in your mouth, and I am all for it. Available in a range of flavours, themes and designs - cupcakes are the perfect addition to any event, party or celebration!

  • Specialising in vintage cuties, I love baking a cake. Birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, weddings, Tuesdays - any day can be made better with a cake.

  • There isn’t much else in this world that brings me as much delight as creating a grazing table (sure, my boys are pretty cute and my partner is a hunk, but grazing tables have cheese). Wow and delight your friends, colleagues, families or clients with a grazing table (or a grazing box - which, kind of like the cake/cupcake thing is just an entire grazing table on a small scale JUST FOR YOU).

  • Table settings, decorations, party bags, activities - you name it, I love every single aspect of bringing a party together. I love working alongside people to bring their vision to life with my unique flair for ensuring people everywhere feel celebrated, loved and appreciated.

  • My professional background is in writing. I have written and contributed to a number of Australian magazines, publications and blogs across a wide range of sectors including architectural, industrial, design, sport and social commentary. Should you need any content for your brand, website or publication - I am here to help!

  • If there is a creative project you are working on, or an idea that you want to see come to life but don’t have the time or skills, I am woman for you. It might be a new piece of artwork for your lounge room, or some handmade bath milk or salts, or a gift for your kids teacher - anything creative your little heart desires, she will make it happen.

“I love working closely with people to ensure that each and every one of their visions, ideas and wildest imaginings come to fruition. There is absolutely nothing more fulfilling to me than creating something that makes others smile, and gush, and laugh, and weep uncontrollably with happiness.”

- Leah Cwikel, Founder of Left Right Creative
